Naming

Rosa lucida var. lamprophylla was already described and the name validly published by Alfred Rehder. It was Paul V. Heath, however, who reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics .

Rosa lucida var. lamprophylla is a variety in the genus Rosa which contains approximately 180 to 623 species and belongs to the family of the Rosaceae (Rose Family).
