Naming

Rosa caesia subsp. glauca was already described and the name validly published by Carl Frederik Nyman. It was George Gordon Graham and Anthony Leo Primavesi, however, who reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics .

Taxonomy

Rosa caesia subsp. glauca is a subspecies in the genus Rosa which contains approximately 180 to 623 species and belongs to the family of the Rosaceae (Rose Family).
