Ceropegia albisepta was described by Henri Lucien Jumelle and Joseph Marie Henry Alfred Perrier de la Bâthie. The name is considered as validly published.

Ceropegia albisepta is a species in the genus Ceropegia which contains approximately 229 to 262 species and belongs to the family of the Apocynaceae (Dogbane Family).
