Naming

Thlaspi rotundifolium subsp. cepaeifolium was already described and the name validly published by Franz Xavier von Wulfen. It was Georges C.Chr. Rouy and Julien Foucaud, however, who reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics .

Taxonomy

Thlaspi rotundifolium subsp. cepaeifolium is a subspecies in the genus Thlaspi which contains approximately 74 to 119 species and belongs to the family of the Brassicaceae (Mustard Family).
