Ginkgo biloba (=Salisburia adiantifolia, Salisburia biloba), commonly called maidenhair tree is a tree that has been planted as an ornamental tree for over 3000 years. His attraction lies mainly in the unusual shape of its leaves and the brilliant autumn colour.
