Asparagus cochinchinensis (= Asparagus lucidus), commonly known as Lucid Asparagus, is a climber.

Asparagus cochinchinensis was already described and the name validly published by João de Loureiro. It was not until 1919, however, that Elmer Drew Merrill reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics.

The Lucid Asparagus is a species in the genus Asparagus which contains 212 species and belongs to the family of the Asparagaceae (Asparagus Family).

The climbers grow to a height of approximately 2 meters.
