Hymenoxys grandiflora (= Actinea grandiflora, Actinella grandiflora, Rydbergia grandiflora, Tetraneuris grandiflora), commonly known as four-nerved daisy, is a perennial.

Hymenoxys grandiflora was already described and the name validly published by John Torrey and Asa Gray. It was not until 1950, however, that Kittie Fenley Parker reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics.

The four-nerved daisy is a species in the genus Hymenoxys (rubberweed) which belongs to the family of the Asteraceae (Aster Family).

The perennials grow to a height of approximately 0,3 meters.

Hymenoxys grandiflora has simple leaves. The leaves are arranged opposite one another. They are linear with entire margins.

The flowers are many-petaled and yellow. The plants bloom from June to August. The flowers are arranged solitary.
