Achillea pindicola ssp. integrifolia was already described and the name validly published by Eugen von Halácsy. It was not until 1986, however, that Roy Franzén reclassified it into todays valid botanical systematics.

Achillea pindicola ssp. integrifolia is a subspecies in the genus Achillea (yarrow) which contains 85 species and belongs to the family of the Asteraceae (Aster Family).
